Dean Fergie looks beyond the “relief and optimism” after reporting season to a couple of upcoming IPOs which could benefit from Australia Post which is struggling to cope with COVID demand for its services. Dean calls Zoom2U (Z2U) an Uber for parcels that has the likes of DHL, Nespresso and Pact group as corporate clients along with active SME clients. Touch Ventures (TVL) that is due to list around the 29th September. The other upcoming IPO is Touch (TVL) a venture capital company backed by Afterpay (35%) that has just raised $100m through Bells. TVL has 5 investee businesses including BNPL companies in the UAE and China (Happay). Dean says Touch has recently put US$25m into Australia Post competitor Sendle, which has made huge inroads in Australia and is looking to expand into the US. He reckons the Afterpay (APT) association has set this IPO up for success.
